Deal With It

Let's face it, I'm not blogging like I used to anymore.

I'm tired, worn out, and too busy to actually take the time to blog.

Maybe I'll come back one day and chronicle daily life, but for right now I'm calling it quits. I honestly can't keep up with the demands blogging requires. So, I'm turning in my pen for a little while. I hope you, my dear reader/follower, understand.

Maybe I'll be back one day. And hey, it might not be that far away. :)

I hope y'all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! :)

A Tiny Bit of Creativity.....

Deck the halls with Christmas greetings

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Don't you give yourself a beating

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Go online and don't be cranky

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

TinyPrints is so so easy.

Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Choose your card and customize it

Fa la la la la, la la la la

Pick you quantity and send it

Fa la la la la, la la la la

(cease christmas song)
I would continue, but the bank was out of creativity today.... :)

Anyway, I just thought I'd show y'all some of my favorite cards from the online card shop, TinyPrints!

I first discovered TinyPrints when I started looking for a Mother's Day card for my mom. I was SO pleased with the results that I bought my dad a card from there too! :)

So, when it came time for Christmas cards this year, I knew where to look. With over 400 designs to choose from this holiday season alone, choosing the *perfect* card will not be easy!

But thanks to the filters on the side, I just might find the one I'm looking for! :)

Are not these some of the cutest designs??

This is probably my favorite right here.....

So then, if you are having a hard time finding that perfect card, head on over and see for yourself! :)

{Disclaimer: I was contacted by TinyPrints to write about their Christmas card lineup this year through their blogging campaign. All my opinions are my own. Happy Holidays everyone! }

My Entire Summer Vacation In 11 Days

So, I've been to the 50th state and back (and lived to tell about it). Barely. Jet lag was horrible both ways, but worth it! Maybe. 25/75. 25% of the time, it was fun. 75% of the time, not so good. (think jetlag, caring for the elderly, sushi = food poisoning, someone doesn't understand the word "freestyle cruising", etc.)

Anyway, I did manage to enjoy the beauty of Hawaii and take in the sun! So with that said, please join me over here––one last time––to see the Aloha State through my eyes. :)

I have to make a stop at Starbucks first, though. ;)

Its The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

and no, I'm not talking about Christmas; I'm talking about FALL!!!! Honestly, this is my favorite season partially because of the colors. :) Anyway, this past weekend I went to see October Baby, barely run in the frigid temperatures, and relive my childhood at the local pumpkin patch! :)

Needless to say, I had a great time!

Friday Night, my friend Becca and I went to see the new, independent film October Baby. The theatre was packed. Aside from the making out couple next to me, I had a really good time! :)

Saturday Morning did not turn out so well, as I didn't even make it 200 yards before giving up and walking back to the start line. It was THAT cold.

Later in the day, I traveled with the Highschool girls from my church to Old Baker Farm. The weather was perfect for our little outing!!

These girls were thrilled to jump in cotton (and lay in it) ! =0

All the girls...

All in all, I had an awesome weekend!

A Reminder

Worth It

Love’s not a feeling
Love’s not convenient
But I know love will change your life
Love takes sacrifice
Love cuts like a knife
Sometimes love will make you cry
Love’s not easy
But it’s worth it
Love is a hunger
But love won’t leave you empty
See it’s the language of the heart
Love can steal your pride
But love won’t let you hide
It takes everything you’ve got
Love’s not easy
But it’s worth it
What you gonna do when the bottom falls out
And you’re left with nothing but your fear and your doubt to hold to
Who will hold you?
Where you gonna run when it’s all on the line
And you’re looking for someone to save your life
To save your life
Love can hear you
Love can heal you
If you let it inside
Oh, remember now
Love’s not easy
But it’s worth it
What you gonna do when the bottom falls out
And you’re left with nothing but your fear and your doubt to hold to
Who’s gonna hold you?
Oh, where you gonna run when it’s all on the line
And you’re looking for someone to save your life
To save your life
Love can hear you
I know love will heal you
If you let it inside
Oh, remember now
Love’s not easy
But it’s worth it

Underneath the pages....

So, I went to Dauphin Island this past week for four days. It was a tough trip but, worth it all. The LORD used that time for good and I'm glad.

This is Pescador and Natan. {They are going to kill me, btw.}

Two precious girls. Good times.

A beach sunset. Pretty times.

Jellyfish sting. Hurting times.

Famous group shot. Fun times.

One night, Pescador led us in a worship song called "Christ is Risen."  Awesome song.

Listen to it here.

1 Corinthians 15:54c- 57
"Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

That's all. more later! :)

The Purpose of This Blog

Well.......I decided to start a new blog. :)

The motto of this particular blog is: short. simple. sweet. {most of the time, anyway. ;)}

Short: conciseness in my writing along with fewer pictures.
Simple: not elaborate. nice, clean design.
Sweet: encourage you, reader, with my writing. {hopefully}

That's about it.

By the way, thanks for stopping by the blog. Leave a comment or drop an email letting me know what you think! :)
